Creak! goes the mansion Wrinkled with time it’s haunted The mansion is big
The rust is bread crumbs Some spots are really sketchy Deep holes like swiss cheese It’s restored back to normal Some spots are original
It was new before It has aged old over time It weeps for its past
It was expensive It was used as a big house The wife died at night Sigh! The house is full of grief The husband had died also
Mansion Now and Then - Christian Sova
The mansion is a skyscraper Not as white as a piece of paper There are more rooms than a big hotel The rooms are pretty big as well
I used to be a farm But now I am a charm
I’m mainly made of metal Just like the grand piano’s pedals
It was restored back to normal If you visit you should dress formal
Mrs. Felt’s room is haunted I don’t think that you are wanted
The mansion is a sauna and heated If you go there you will never be mistreated
The mansion is like a honeycomb design The mansion will always shine
You can have a wedding there Its pretty big, just don’t get scared
The mansion is really cool It’s so cool that you will drool
Mansion Built for Love - Christian Sova
She is an aphrodite She is as gentle as a butterfly The continuous love for my wife keeps me going For her I will build this gift To sing this song of love for her Brick by brick, day by day, this love song takes shape Soon my family will be tucked safely away in God’s green country Safe from the violence of the big city No fire shall burn what we have built My wife she needs this more than any To be able to breathe in the fresh farm smell And the giant green grass 200,000 trees I will plant for her There are no cars honking their horns There are only birds chirping in the morning One day with a Bang! my whole life changes She is gone, and my heart breaks for her
History of the Mansion - Jacob Scott I see the Felt Mansion I see that it’s old like an old family member, big and restored It is made out of bricks like an old brick house it’s sitting on a piece of property It is also made of pure concrete like thousands of beehives joined together It is huge. There used to be buildings around it and a beach house The owners died shortly after it was built The wife died of tuberculosis The husband died a year and 6 month later The house is left to the daughters after he died The building was transformed into the St. Augustine Seminary They did this by adding a building in the back to create a school The seminary school is a boarding house used to educate boys Over time it changed into a state police post There was a prison on the property Later the prison, a cage for humans, was torn down Today it is used as a museum Felt Mansion does tours The plumbing in the house was before its time There is a ballroom. The ballroom is a small fish tank they rent out Now you can get married in the mansion
Living History - Jacob Scott I am an old rock I am a restored mansion I'm alive again
I am happy now I am alive like a cow I’m doing so well People get married at me I am living history
You can walk through me People can look inside me I am a big house
I am a cool place My doors do open daily I am in a park You can play games around me You can smash grass at the park
Mr. Felt's Plan - Jacob Scott
I heard of the Chicago fire I needed to make a non flammable house My plan was to live here with my kids and my spouse
I bought the property in 1910 visiting now and then Then used it for farm for years, exactly ten
I used it for ten years as a farm before I built on the land I wanted to build a house on it and and did what I had planned
The reason I bought the land was to live on the coastline I planted over 200,000 trees, including pine
Ting, Humph, Ka-ching, Ka-boom - construction sounds we move in later to live My fear of fire made me design an almost non flammable house in which to live
The house a rock built with tough steel, but not with wood from trees Up on the ridge, the windmills whirled and danced through the breeze
The mansion had 25 rooms waiting to host people in the house My daughters loved it, and so did my spouse
I designed the outside as old as time and made the inside ahead of its time By designing this I was smart and had the house of a lifetime
Shortly after the house was built, Mrs. Felt’s got life did not thrive After she died I was not the same, but my daughter’s wanted me to live
A year and a half later I died of a heart attack My daughters didn't want to come back
